Coping with Anxiety

Feeling constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained can make even everyday life feel unmanageable. Through evidence-based approaches — including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness — you'll gain practical tools to calm the noise, work through conflict, and find your way out of hopelessness or low motivation. Depression 

Are you feeling the PNW blues? Feel like you're here, but not here? Sick of wearing a mask like everything is fine?  It is OK to NOT be OK. Depression, even mild cases causes us to lose confidence and faith in ourselves. You might begin to wonder or not to trust that you can and will somehow ever feel better. Many of my clients also want support to decide if medication could help. There are many different paths to find that joy again, and you do not have to walk this journey alone.

Grief

I wish I could make the pain and agony of loss go away — but I can sit with you in it, and help you transform it into something different. Grief is not a problem to be solved or a timeline to be followed. Whether you are mourning a person, a relationship, or a version of yourself you've had to let go, your pain deserves to be witnessed, not rushed.

Together, we can hold space for all of it — the sadness, the anger, the numbness, and the guilt of laughing again. Grief can become an awakening — an invitation to go deeper, to uncover the resilience you didn't know you carried, and to find meaning that honors both your loss and your life moving forward. 

LGBTQ+

You deserve support, acceptance, and affirmation. One of my specialties is working with “late bloomers”—those coming out later in life. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, hopelessness, relationship challenges, religious shame, or exploring your gender identity, therapy can help you make sense of it all. As a queer affirming therapist, I’m here to help you find clarity, build confidence, and create a path forward where you can fully embrace your beautiful-authentic self.

Infertility

The pain of wanting to bring a child into this world—while your body tells you otherwise—is gut wrenching. You may have people in your life who mean well, but don’t fully understand how physically and emotionally demanding this journey can be. Having an experienced clinician by your side who GETS it can offer steady support, help you advocate for yourself, and teach self-soothing tools—providing much-needed relief as you navigate the complexities of assisted reproduction and adoption.
